Tyler Arcari (b. 1989) is a Composer, Author, Clinician and Educator based in Lakeland, Florida. He currently serves as the Instrumental Music Editor of Excelcia Music Publishing, a company founded in 2018 by Composer Larry Clark. He received his B.A. and M.S. degrees in music education from Troy University where he studied Dr. Mark J. Walker. As an educator, Tyler has taught at both the middle school and high school levels, where his ensembles consistently earned superior ratings at contests and festivals.
Besides his professional duties at Excelcia Music Publishing, Tyler is an active clinician and arranger, working with many middle and high school students across the country. As an arranger, Tyler has worked with ensembles from all ability levels, most recently collaborating with the Pensacola Civic Band on commissioned works for a concert with Carl Hilding “Doc Severinsen” and vocalist Holly Shelton.
As a composer, Tyler is an emerging talent in the music industry. Drawing on his experience as an educator, he crafts music that is sophisticated, while also being sensitive to the needs of learning musicians. His music is published and available through Excelcia Music Publishing as well as Carl Fischer Music and is regularly featured in Publications such as ABA Bandworld Magazine’s Top 100. His music has been featured on All-State
programs and numerous state assessment list as well as performed at prestigious venues including CBDNA and the Midwest Music Clinic. He is recently one of the winners of the Dallas Winds annual "Call for Fanfares" competition.
In his spare time Tyler enjoys escaping into new and exciting realities through gaming. He is an avid animal lover and lives in Lakeland with Wife Heather, his 2 rabbits, Maximus and Marshmallow as well as a peach cat named Otis.
